Tragedy After Kindness Wish Ends in Death of Miss McIntosh
Miss Jimmy McIntosh a senior at Arab High School, Mt Olive, died after a car driven by Miss Lois Whisenant struck her near Mt Olive. Whisenant tried to stop for a ride, misapplied the accelerator, sending the car into McIntosh who died 24 hours later in Gadsden Alabama. Funeral held Mt Olive with survivors including her parents and sister Veeta. McIntosh was active in music and a popular student in the community.
