Death of Twin City resident Alexander Darnell at home
Alexander S. Darnell a longtime Decatur resident and former Louisville and Nashville railroad employee died suddenly at his home on Line street. Funeral services will be held at 3:30 PM Friday at the First Methodist Church with burial in the city cemetery. Survived by his widow two daughters Mary Darnell and Mrs C J Coolidge and one son Benjamin Darnell. Darnell resided in Decatur 37 years and was a real estate worker for part of that time. He collapsed in his yard after returning from work and died despite medical aid.
