In Tusembia Alabama on June 15 a fatigued mother left her one year old alone in the dining room. The infant grabbed a rattlesnake from the room, rattling as the child cooed. The mother crushed the snake with a chair and both cried out in fear. The incident was reported as authentic by Mrs Lawrence.

The property described as land in Dawson County will be sold before the courthouse door at public auction on the first Friday in September during legal hours to the highest bidder for cash.
