Mrs E L Fowler and her son moved near Wier while Miss Flora Stiles returned home near Emma. Several local visits and trips occurred including L J Redd to Gainesvill and Jeff Taylor from Sanford in town. A picnic at Mincy Spring followed a school closure. Weathered by multiple church and school meetings and a May 2 tax return date for 1922.
Miss Leona Voyles and Mrs Lula Hyde spent Saturday night with Mrs Luther Gilreath. Georgia Hays visited Mary Roper Saturday. Dakis and Ethel Elkins visited Lula Hyde Monday. Lula Hyde and Leona Voyles spent Wednesday with brother Otis Voyles in Canton. A young man with Brown Eyes drew curiosity after feet washing Sunday. John Gable hosted a Saturday night party enjoyed by all. Annie Mae Hyde and Agnes Voyles visited Christine Roper Friday. Voyles spent Thursday with Ethel Elkins.
Mrs Sara West hosted an Apron Party on Dahlonega Street last Thursday night. Girls wore aprons while boys did the hemming. Ratcliff Kelley won the prize. Cake and lemonade were served by the hostess. San ford Graham aged about 35 was found dead near Harmony church Thursday afternoon after being missing since Tuesday. Coroner B H Howard held an inquest showing death from natural causes. The remains were laid to rest at Harmony Friday. Mr Graham is survived by a wife and several children.
In a notice the Advertiser announces new management after the current owners Mrs. B. H. Howard L. J. Redd Bryan Redd express regrets and urge readers to support the paper. The ad promotes Tanlac as nature's remedy sold by R. D. McClure.
Minnie Blanton born December 8 1885 professed religion September 28 1900 at age 14. Married to Charley Blanton January 22 1905 and blessed with seven children. A devout wife mother and sister she bore suffering with cheerfulness and resignation, guided by faith in the Lord.
Notice in McClure chambers dated April 21 1922 for sale May 5 1922 of W B Burdine estate personal property including 2000 fodder bundles 250 bushels corn buggy harness tools iron safe household goods organ dresser furniture and more to be sold at public outcry at Burdine residence with cash terms. Martain P Burdine W W Gill L J Redd listed as parties.
