A Saturday evening program on April 27 from 8:30 to 10:30 features twenty Vocational Agriculture students from Cumming High School performing plays, jokes, songs and dances. All Day Singing and Church Events At Dawsonville
All day singing planned at the Baptist church next Sunday with dinner on the ground and well filled baskets. Rev. Johnson preaches Saturday at 2 30 regular meeting day. Also a tent event at Dawsonville with showings of life of Jesse James and a World War II style note. Proceeds support the local school. An at home sale of household furniture occurs Monday April 29 at 10 00 am eight miles south of Dawsonville. Emma Wood hosts. Mrs Linda McKee widow of J B McKee died at her Burtsboro home Tuesday morning after a stroke. She had been unwell a few days and died before Dr Howard arrived. Surviving children include Mrs John W West Dahlonega Homer D McKee Glendale AZ Jd Henry McKee Kansas Okla Will D McKee Nelson Ga and Burt McKee Burtsbury Ga with sisters Mrs A J Fowler and Mrs Rilla Pirkie Dawsonville Funeral and interment were at Shoal Creek Wednesday afternoon led by Rev GR Voaughter May.
