Quiet Nominations Mark Local Municipal Elections
In Davidson and surrounding areas the nominating process was subdued with incumbents winning by acclamation. The mayor and several councillors, along with school board members, will return for another term as Arm River and Willner municipalities maintain the 1916 lineup with only divisions 1 and 3 unsettled in some towns. A cooperative move to merge secretarial duties may cut costs and improve efficiency.
