A concert and dance promoted by Misses Osborne and Dahl from Maple Valley and Comfard Schools raised funds for the Red Cross. The event at Orange Halls on Friday night November 22 featured schoolchildren, a dialogue act by The Old Miide' Convention, and a talk by Professor S Rutherford using an electric transformer. Supper and expenses left $96.85 for charity.
