The Manitoba Prohibition Alliance delegates conducted devotional exercises and elected Rev. Fred C. Middleton as permanent Chairman of the Presbytery with Rev. John Jackson as Secretary and John Kennedy as Treasurer. A funding target of $1000 for Dauphin Presbytery was set as part of a larger Maintenance and PEXTension Fund appeal, with a strong committee formed to head the fall campaign. Later, Elks celebrate the third anniversary in Dauphin and back a resolution to protect elk by discouraging use of elk teeth as an emblem, an effort that moved from Edmonton to Montreal and ultimately passed in 1925.

Gaily decorated with lights and flowers the Oddfellows hall was the backdrop for a very successful 500 party held by the Past Noble Grand's association of Alexandra Rebekah lodge of Dauphin last Friday night.
