Boot and shoe department promotes spring rubbers for all ages and uses. Rubber boots priced from five to ten dollars for men and from seven to fourteen dollars for fine boots. Strong work boots, strong school shoes, and farm wear rubbers emphasized. Advertising notes 1919 prices still in effect despite rising costs.
Ramsay's Meats Weekly Ad Highlights Bargains
Provisions cost less with meats like cooked ham and sausage and cheaper bacon per pound. Specials include Kellogg's Corn Flakes eight packs for one dollar and Own Blend Tea six tenths per pound. Also priced were prunes peaches Lombard plums and various canned vegetables plus discounted glassware and dinnerware sets.

Barrett Addresses 10.D.E. Members on Loyalty and Charity

The Rural Municipality of Dauphin will construct over sixty miles of new roads this year under a three year program. Henry, former municipal engineer of St Vital who has returned from overseas, is appointed engineer in charge of the work.

Mary Tomaski Acquitted in Spirits Apparatus Charge
The Inland Revenue Dept charged Mary Tomaski with possessing an apparatus for making spirits. Police Magistrate Hawkins acquitted her after Inspector Ball and Constable Little testified about a wooden pail with raisin and orange peel. The defence contended the pail held kitchen refuse. Ramsden prosecuted, Katz defended.
