Four Month Old Boy Killed in Car Accident
A four month old boy, son of Mr and Mrs A Montison of Laurier, died in a motor crash two miles south of Makinak at 2 am on Friday June 6. The car, driven by Mr Montison, plunged into an eight foot ditch after missing a bridge. Mrs Montison and Miss Agnes Doucette were injured. Doucette was treated at Ste Rose hospital. Coroner Dr Adam Little announced an inquest for Thursday June 12 at Ste Rose.

Garbage collection contract awarded to Ferris brothers
