A serious accident occurred when Tony Horodnick was badly burned by a fire, later dying at the Dauphin hospital.

Two-Car Head-On Collision Near Grandview Leaves One Injured
A midnight collision west of Grandview involved cars driven by George Lane and Matt Parrott, both reportedly at speed with no lights. Parrott sustained injuries to his hand while Lane suffered serious facial injuries. Earlier, 17 motorists were convicted in provincial court for motor vehicle violations and Jim Long was fined for carrying a revolver and for sewing liquor.

Runaway Dray Ends in Street Chaos at U N Freight Shed
An incident occurred Monday afternoon when Cameron & Heap's team had a runaway from the U N freight shed taking the dray and its rider into the road. The vehicle struck a telephone pole and split the base, then the horses split directions with one heading down Main Street South on a record run while the other, with the dray, moved toward Front Street to reach the War Memorial before locals halted the pursuit.

Charges in livery cases before Magistrate Hawkins
Several drivers of livery cars faced charges for operating without a license before Magistrate Hawkins on Wednesday the 15th and were remanded until Monday. The same day two drivers were charged with speeding and one with driving while intoxicated and these were also held over until Monday.

At the annual meeting in the GW W A hall about sixty shareholders attended.
