Mr and Mrs Walter Terry celebrate their Golden Wedding Anniversary. They wed in Dauphin in 1896, moved to town in 1916, and have two children: Mrs C E Stelck and Mrs W C Bubb, with grandchildren joining the celebration in Dauphin. Mrs Sophie Chard was born in Portage la Prairie. Mr Terry came from Kent England and worked at the local creamery before retirement.

More than 500 attendees at the December North End Home and School Association meeting in Henderson auditorium heard student performances from Henderson and Whitmore Smith-Jackson schools. Programs featured grade recitations, dances, plays, choirs, and a film. business chair K. A McKillop urged renewals as memberships stood at 25. The South End concert at Eighth Avenue hall showcased Grade 8 to Grade 2 acts, with multiple recitations, dances, choral readings, solos, and a Mother Goose play, under President L. Beech.

Financial Report Shows Profit And Growth For Dauphin Agricultural Society
The 1948 Dauphin summer fair posted an estimated profit of 1350 with government grants expected to reach 2600 and a projected carry-over near 3500 after adding grants. Gate receipts rose to 7383, expenses to 15308, and prize money totaled 2942 while short course had a 44 profit. President Dowler urged cost cuts to sustain growth.
