Banquet Set After Local Dragging Competition Finish

The feeding in the dragging competition under the Good Heads Association has concluded. A banquet at the GWY ball is planned Friday at 6 20 pm where winners will be announced and prizes given. Attendees expected from Gilbert Plains Grandview Ochre River Ste Rose councils, plus Emmett Manitoba Motor League secretary, plus a Provincial Gold Heads Association or Highways Department representative.

Lands Auction Withdrawals At Dauphin R M Hall

The Dauphin Rural Municipality sold lands for tax arrears at the municipal hall on December 16. A notable feature was many lands withdrawn by paying arrears, 77 of 213 parcels. The balance was mostly acquired by the municipality.
