Record Crop Movement In Dauphin

A three month surge in rail yard activity due to a bumper crop boosted payrolls and staff across departments. Weather favorable conditions and vigilant crews supported heavy movement toward Great Lakes storage, with optimism amid continued railway demand and navigation openings. Dauphin Radio Prize and Dance At Town Hall

The novelty dance at Dauphin Town Hall on Friday hosted by the Dauphin Curling Club drew about 250 guests with the Dauphin Theatre Orchestra providing music. Prizes were awarded for the Birthday Waltz and the Charleston impressed. Ted Bubb won the radio draw and donations poured in for Christmas Cheer benefiting local groups.

Premier Bracken Speaks on Manitoba Finances at Gilbert Plains

Premier Bracken outlined Manitoba’s financial position from 1914 to 1922 using charts to show debt growth and revenue fluctuations.
