Constable G. C. Harpell of the Ste. Rose detachment suffered a broken left arm when he slipped and fell 15 feet from the Turtle River bridge while investigating a car crash last Sunday evening. He had responded to an accident involving Father A. E. Theret of Ste. Rose and Major H. E. Welland of McCreary. It was dark at the time.

Don Cameron Wins Sudbury Boxing Title Over Boehmer
Don Cameron of Sudbury, formerly of Dauphin, defeated Roy Boehmer the Webbwood giant by knockout in the second round to claim the Nickel Belt heavyweight crown. Cameron, six pounds lighter, weathered early punches and finished with a stiff right to the jaw before Boehmer fell to the ropes.

Doctor Beauchamp to Mark 93rd Birthday This Week
Dr P J Beauchamp will celebrate his 93rd birthday on Saturday at his Fourth Avenue South West home with a family reunion. He arrived in Winnipeg in 1873 and came to the Dauphin region in 1886, intending to farm but turning to medicine due to many calls. He moved to Dauphin in 1886 and has lived there ever since, described as a well man and self reliant.

Dauphin Youth Injures Foot In Rabbit Hunting Accident
A collegiate student accidentally shot his right foot with a .22 rifle while chasing a rabbit near town. The lead pellet entered the outer fleshy part below the ankle and exited through the sole. No bones were touched. Readied for car, he ran toward the rabbit when the gun struck his knee. The youth fears his mother will restrict gun access.
Feeder Airline to Be Discussed in Winnipeg Convention
Discussion on establishing an airmail feeder line will take place in Winnipeg today. The convention will also consider an 8 percent electric light tax and moving the tax to hours consumed rather than on the electricity cost. Dauphin Board of Trade officials Wm. Voss and C. D.
