Silas M. Pickering a longtime Carl Scott Park Farms employee at Linns bury died after a fall from a hay wagon. Born July 3, 1869, he was 48 years old. Survived by wife Minnie Reichard and two sons Howard and Brazier Merle, plus siblings. Funeral at Linns bury Christian church with interment at Green Lawn cemetery.
