Death of George W. Little in Sugar Creek Township
George W. Little, eighty four, longtime Sugar Creek resident, died at his home two miles north of town at 5 AM Monday June 25 from arterial hardening after a brief illness. Born April 16, 1833, he married Ruth Corbin in 1853. she died in 1914. Survived by four children Lew Wallace, Charles W, Sarah, and Emma. A Dunkard Church member for nearly 50 years. Funeral at East Christian Church on Wednesday at 10 AM, conducted by Rev. Campbell with Rev. Dunbar assisting. burial in I O O F cemetery.

Children’s Day Exercises Draw Huge South Christian Crowd
A large Sunday night turnout at South Christian Church filled all spaces for Children’s Day with many youngsters participating. Notable performances included readings by Minerva Manning Glaydis Francis Baren Stewart Audrey Wisehart and Pauline Engle plus a cornett solo by Howard Hiatt. Twelve girls closed with a flag drill and tableau around Ruth Lynch as Columbia.

Camp Fire Girls Hike to Crawfordsville

Auto Crash Near Kirkpatrick Injures Two
Sunday afternoon near Kirkpatrick Hobart Bryant and Miss Ruth Wills were injured when a learner driver failed to leave room to pass.
