A village drive to fund War Savings Stamps seeks to meet the $32 855 quota with a meeting at the Library and a wide canvass. Despite talks by Postmaster Johnston and Crawfordsville official Stump, only 26 685 in sales and pledges were recorded, leaving 6 170 to raise before the July 1 deadline. A Friday meeting on June 28 will register pledges and purchases, with a formal plan and minutes required for county records.

Funeral for Bert Martin Held at Presbyterian Church
Bert Martin dies in Louisville Kentucky last week and funeral services were conducted Saturday at ten o clock by Rev Williams. The Liberty quartette sang and many friends and relatives attended.
