Fatal Stabbing Case To Go To Grand Jury
A murder charge against Daniel Alfred Simon 49 of Lanier Ave will be considered by a Corporation Court grand jury probably in November. The case stems from the fatal stabbing of his estranged wife Eva Moxley Simon and a bound over charge against Simon for feloniously cutting his sister Lucy Rollins at the Rollins apartment. Also bound over was a felonious charge against Nellie Terry Hairston for a butcher knife attack on Lloyd Clayton Willis. A grand jury will also consider two 1957 forgery charges against Eugene Kendle Sanders returned to Danville after a North Carolina prison sentence.
