Federal Judge To Rule On Matlovich Case
A federal judge in Washington agreed to rule on the constitutionality of the militarys automatic discharge of homosexuals but refused to block the Air Force from discharging Sgt Leonard Matlovich. Gesell set November 3 for hearings on an injunction and the case moves forward as Matlovich, a Vietnam veteran with a distinguished record, faces the end of a 12 year career over his sexuality.
