Concord To Be Upset Come April 1 But There's No Tomfoolery Involved

Concord prepares to adopt a citywide street name and number overhaul on April 1. North south streets become streets, east west become avenues, and other roads become dead end streets. The plan, approved by city officials and the Planning Board, includes new grid numbering and luminescent address markers for 68 of over 200 streets, extending one mile beyond the city limits. Delivery, emergency, and utility crews support the change, while some residents resist. Post cards will inform residents of exact changes.
