Gretna Hawks face mound shortage as rotation rebuilt
Gretna High School baseball, led by Hawks Coach Reid Taylor, must replace Eddie East who struck out over 100 and top hitter lost to graduation. Junior Tim Gammon led last year with a 4-2 mark, while sophomores Hay Hudson Marty Rowles and Rusty Shelton join a thin pitching staff. Taylor emphasizes smart pitching and speed changes to offset lack of power.
