Isaac Schuster 85 once led Harnsberger's Department Store on Main Street Danville and held substantial real estate. He moved to Baltimore in 1952 after retiring in Danville. he died there last week. Survived by wife Rosel, three children Frank Marvin and Mrs Moe Berman, nine grandchildren, and other relatives. He remained active in Retz Chayim Synagogue Elks Lodge and Morotock Lodge of Masons.

Funeral Rites Set Today For D I Garrett
Funeral services are held at 3 p.m. for David Irs Garrett 26 of Axton Rt 2 killed Tuesday in a construction accident. He fell from a scaffold at a warehouse site near Martinsville. Burial follows in County Line Christian Church Cemetery. Survived by parents Harry L. and Virginia Garrett, a brother Harry Lee Garrett Jr, a sister Shelby Jean Garrett, and grandmother Nora Riddle. Body at Stone Funeral Home.

Youths Fined For Falsifying Driver Papers
Two Negro youths were fined $100 each in Municipal Court for falsifying a driver's license application and for allowing another to take the operator's license exam in his name. Obie Gene Hutt 18 of Axton Rt. 2 and Owney Junior Carter 21 of Axton Rt. 1 faced these charges and noted appeals. The Danville Salvation Army Advisory Board honored Major and Mrs. Horstemeyer yesterday as they depart after seven years here. They are transferred to Richmond and will start new duties later this month. Eighteen board members attended, presenting a silver pitcher as a keepsake. Wage Increase Agreed To For DuPont Workers
Martinsville plant manager A J McGinty announced wage increases for all DuPont nylon plant workers represented by the Martinsville Nylon Employees Council. Hourly workers gain five to 15 cents per hour, clerical staff receive a salary rise. Effective May 29 for wage staff and Wednesday for salaried staff, about 4,000 employees are affected as the plant runs at full employment.

Court to Levy Sentence June 25 In Staying Case
Robert Witcher a 30 year old Pittsylvania County man will be sentenced June 25 in Circuit Court at Chatham for second degree murder of Robert Childress. Witcher testified he fired seven shots outside Club 88 after Childress threatened him and pursued him. Judge Jones deferred sentencing pending a probation report.

Woman Injured In Car Accident on Westmoreland Court
Mrs Sadie Yarbrough Evans age 60 of 140 Westmoreland Court sustained a bruised rib yesterday afternoon when her vehicle collided with a parked car at Westmoreland Court and West Main Street. Officer F L B Riddle said she was reaching for a container in the floorboard. The other car belonged to Harold I Grousbeck of Stratford Place. Total damage to both vehicles was $325.
