Snow Drop Airlift Aids Five Caswell Snowbound Families
Danville Civil Air Patrol planned an early morning relief flight to Caswell County to deliver heating fuel and food to at least five isolated families cut off by snow. Weather risk loomed, with two planes due to depart between 7 and 8 a.m. If skies permit, pilots led by Col. Paul Remboldt will seek out the hardest hit pockets, aided by signals from dark markers.
