Mrs. Jo Ann Dawson Smith 28 and her five year old daughter Patti Jo Smith were killed yesterday morning when their car was struck by an ACL passenger train two miles north of Naples Florida. Patti Jo Smith was born April 16 1960 in Danville, daughter of Ms Smith and Eugene Smith of Danville. The body will be returned to Chatham Saturday night with funeral Monday at 2 PM at Shockoe Baptist Church in Pittsylvania County. Burial in the Dawson family cemetery.
