County budget okayed by board amid shifts in library funds
The board approved a 1 646 759 budget for county secondary roads reducing the county share by 1 000. It redirects Gretna library funding to federal-state money, leaving the library with 1 500 over its original level. A new fortune tellers license ordinance would require county residency, law enforcement examination, and affidavit of character with a 500 annual state and county license fee. Two licenses exist in Pittsylvania, Sister Teresa and Mother Divine.
