Five Young Men Wounded In Front Of Sanctuary
Five young men were shot by a passing car while gathered around a bonfire in front of a religious sanctuary in Chimayo New Mexico. Three teenagers were arrested during a search of nearby hills. Wounded Jerry Ortiz 28 in critical condition at St Vincent’s Hospital. Sabic Lujan 15 in serious condition at Espanola hospital. Others Manuel Pacheco 20 James Rivera 22 and David Manzanares 22 were in satisfactory condition. Authorities noted Holy Week pilgrimage routes into Chimayo.
