The Emerson community mourns Enos Demme a longtime resident born February 7 1828 in Germany He died May 14 1920 at his Emerson home aged 92 years 3 months and 7 days A simple Presbyterian funeral was held with Rev Orr and Rev Beith eulogizing his life Burial followed at Roselawn cemetery near the home place where most of his life was spent.
