Three Die in Mississippi River Car Plunge Near Wynot Neb
South Sioux City residents Frank Brienzo 23 Mabel Mace 20 and Mickey Brienzo 25 were killed when their car left a Wynot Nebraska road and plunged sixty feet into the Missouri River shortly after midnight. Mickey Brienzo likely died from injuries. no witnesses. The trio leaves a wife and two children, and Mace is survived by a sister and two brothers.

Noted Nebraska Crash Kills Two In Missouri River Plunge
The bodies of Brienzo aged 25 and Mabel Mace aged 29 killed when their car plunged over an embankment into the Missouri River near Wynot Nebraska arrived in South Sioux City yesterday. Mickey Brienzo was slightly injured. Funeral arrangements not yet made. The Sons of Hermann lodge of Kata county Nebraska may suspend meetings for the duration of the war after recent dynamiting. No arrests or traces of the dynamiters have been found. A romance from Morning side college ends in marriage as Herman H. Lueder ex track star and Marian Heikes of Dakota City wed. Lueder, a 1916 Morning side graduate, studied at the University of Illinois, and works with Phoenix Construction in Wichita. He plans to enter officers training camp for graduate engineers. He was Iowa pole vault record holder and a notable debater. Heikes is daughter of Mr and Mrs Sam Heikes of Dakota City. Lueder’s home is Cherokee Iowa.
