Robbery at Armour Store Ends with Safe Stolen Funds
Police report shows Armour was robbed late Friday night March 3. Detectives say two men held a gun to Armour’s head as he unlocked a car and opened the safe, taking about $100 before locking him in a refrigerator and fleeing. Armour escaped and alerted authorities. no charges yet filed against a second suspect.

Orr with many relatives and friends attending from Dakota City Wayne and Winside.

Spring millinery school to beheld in Dakota City next week
The spring millinery school will be held in Dakota City starting Tuesday with the same instruction plan used last fall. Delegates who apply the lessons are expected to expand the millinery industry this spring. A follow up dressmaking school is under way in the Combs district Homer this week led by Mrs. Arthur Harris.
