Amended 1911 Burlington annual report filed with the state railway commission shows 39 deaths on Nebraska lines in 1911, up from 57 in 1910. Eight trainmen died, 181 injured. shopmen fourt een killed overall, including trackmen and other employees. Total fatalities 34, with 1,445 injuries among all on the lines, and compensation paid for injuries and deaths tallied at $152,925.
