County Agent's Field Notes From Dakota City Meeting
County Agent C R Young reports the Short course at Dakota City January 8 11 will be the county's best yet with two sections for men and women. Professors Wood Propps lead agricultural engineering and animal husbandry while Miss Sterne and Miss Johnson cover homemaking and clothing conservation. Admission is one dollar for men and fifty cents for women with family pass. The Dakota County Farmers Association annual meeting was held December 28 with officers named and praise for a model school lunch demonstration. Orders for seeds should be placed soon to aggregate in one sizable purchase.
