Road Establishment and Damages in Dakota County Nebraska
The Dakota City board of county commissioners met March 22 1920 and approved a road between sections 19 27 township 28 range 7. Damages awarded included 437.40 to John Harty 146.60 to James Hogan 190.40 to A L Anderson estate and 190.40 to Fred Saunders. The road opened from the northwest corner of section 27 south half mile east half mile to the west road line of section 26. Matt McKivern resigned as road overseer and Patrick Gormally appointed. William Broyhill named highway commissioner. Bids for road work approved and the board adjourned to April 26 1920.
