Local Notes and Social Gossip from the Region
A freight of items from Manton, Ono dated January 14 1878 notes a poetical piece appearing tomorrow. Several society updates include illnesses at Richwood and Mary Coward, a talk on a comical audience moment, and train arrivals and delays on the C T R R Columbus line. Church pulpit shifts in Delaware, a press change at the Dependent, and farm labor news frame a bustling town scene with social mischief at a north end party and a missionary lecture in the Baptist church.
