Fremont to Sell Four Vacant School Sites for $2 Million

The Fremont school district trustees approved selling four vacant sites to fund capital improvements. Niles High School site covers 97.47 acres on Walnut Avenue east of Civic Center Drive with a $1 million value. Warm Springs High School site spans 17 acres on East Warren Avenue opposite Bradley Street valued at $597,000. Warm Springs Jiminy High School site is 10 acres on Warm Springs Boulevard at Leitch Road priced at $208,000. Dunbar survives attack on San Francisco radio show

Police say Jim Dunbar was unharmed when a man fired three shots at the KGO studio window and then killed himself. Sports director Greg Jordan said an employee, Ben Munson, was wounded inside, and Dunbar went off air after calling for police.
