Oakland and Bay Area cultural events fill weekend
A weekend full of culture and sport across Oakland and the Bay Area features Culture in Motion at the Oakland Museum, a 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. soccer tournament, a Fremont Art Fair, and a Boat Show at the Oakland Coliseum. The Woodminster summer musical Student Prince airs tonight and tomorrow at 8:30 p.m. at Woodminster Amphitheater. Also on tap are Reconquering the Fatherland at Chabot College, the Renaissance Faire near Novato, Muhammad Ali vs Joe Bugner on Wide World of Sports, and Zoo Fari 74 at Oakland Zoo with parades and shows. State lawmakers vote to raise own pay in California
