In San Francisco a Rally by the Committee to Impeach Earl Warren fills Union Square with placards and chants. Speakers include Dr. John A Richardson who calls the Supreme Court a nest of socialism and urges impeachment to save the Republic. No incidents reported. crowd size not released.
President Kennedy vacationed at Cape Cod with family and close aides aboard Honey Fitz while brother Robert F. Kennedy briefed him on Alabama school desegregation. He and Joseph Kennedy enjoyed Nantucket Sound cruises as senators announced votes on the nuclear test ban treaty. Saturday night marked a belated 75th birthday for the former ambassador.
Paul Bryant Bryden, 16, of Rossford Ohio won the Miss American Teenager title at Palisades Amusement Park on Saturday night. First runner up was Karen O'Reilly, 16 from South Fort Mitchell Kentucky and second runner up Thelma Camacho, 15 from National City California.
