San Lorenzo Unified School District expected to adopt salary schedules for the 1969 70 school year at tonight’s 7 o’clock meeting held at the district office 1930 Usher Street. Also on the agenda are cafeteria price schedule adoption authorization of a new adult school course adoption of the classified personnel rule regarding standby bus drivers and personnel claims.
Two suspects were arrested after a security guard spotted them leaving a burglary scene at Regina Val lergas apartment on Santa Clara Street. About $700 in cash and jewelry were reported missing. One suspect, Curtis D B Norris, 18, and a 16 year old girl were detained by police on burglary and possession of dangerous drugs charges.

An 18-year-old San Lorenzo youth, Roger Elynn Humphrey of 17200 Via Chiquita, died at Eden Hospital after apparently shooting himself with a .32 caliber pistol Friday evening. Police report he visited Bartlett Street earlier with a friend. a witness heard a gunshot nearby and found Humphrey wounded under a tree.
George G. Ambrose of SWS Crow Canyon Road Costa Valley is in satisfactory condition at San Leandro Memorial Hospital after a drive in stabbing at Quarter Pound Drive In San Leandro. He said two youths attacked while he tried to aid a third, one stabbed him in the stomach and cuts were also reported on his lip and hand. The assailants fled and were not caught.
