Fire Chief Indicted In Fraud Case

A federal grand jury indicted Treasure Island Fire Department chief Douglas Allen Golden, 43, for fraud. He allegedly obtained at least $10,000 in cash over three years by submitting false receipts for firefighting equipment. Golden led the Treasure Island department for 10 years and is to appear in Federal District Court on November 7.
