A 22 year old Hayward resident Pfc Nester A Quintero is listed as wounded in action in Korea by the Department of Defense. He is the son of Mrs Georginia Quintero of Silva Avenue Hayward. A letter to his mother says he is in a base hospital with arm wounds and is recovering. Quintero, a three year veteran, is a native of Puerto Rico.
