Fire Incident Suppresses at B and W Paint Site
A one-fifth gallon drum of alcohol exploded at 12 15 pm Monday sparking a rubbish fire that spread to grass near B and W Paint, 15310 East 1dth Street. Ashland fire crews extinguished the blaze, saved 20 barrels of paint, and halted over 20 feet of a wooden fence. Later at 2 40 pm another grass fire was attended at 17100 Rolando Avenue in Castro Valley, with additional grass blazes along Della Castro Valley Boulevard and 7038 Parsons Road by 2 45 pm.

PG&E Details Cost of New 34 Inch Gas Pipeline
SAN FRANCISCO UP PG&E argues for a 16 million line and a 63 million dollar gas pipeline project called the super inch.
