Mack Trucks launches RL Series lightweight West Coast tractor
Mack introduces the RL Series a four model lightweight tractor for West Coast applications with wheelbases from 152 to 254 inches. Built at the Hayward California plant the line features fiberglass hood and tilting fenders a high strength steel cab with aluminum doors and a roomy interior plus a broad optional powerplant lineup from 107 to 980 horsepower including Thermodyne and Maxidyne engines.

Golden Passport program for federal recreation areas offered
The California State Automobile Association lists the 1967 Golden Passport, a $7 annual card valid April 1 1967 to March 31 1968. It admits the holder and occupants of their car to thousands of federal recreation sites including Yosemite Sequoia Kings Canyon Lassen and other National Park Service Forest Service and BLM areas. CSAA offices sell the passport with no commission, optional purchase, while single-entrance passes remain available.
