Rest Home Owner Plans Appeal Over Eviction Order
Hayward rest home operator Mildred Schmitt says she will appeal to the city council after the Planning Commission ruled her five bedroom home at 24635 Dale St is a residential property and that more than five unrelated residents violate zoning. She has 60 days to evict one patient and will seek council support to overturn the decision.
