Lucky survival story after waterfall plunge on Skokomish River

An 18 year old youth named Warnock survived a fall over a waterfall on the Skokomish River. Rescuers searched four hours before Warnock surfaced two feet from a diver. He emerged with only bumps and bruises and praised a cave-like air pool under a boulder that aided his escape.

California officer death case moves to superior court

Judge Alfred Delucchi ordered 33-year-old Pleasanton resident Moreno to stand trial in the superior court on two counts of homicide after the preliminary hearing. Bail remains at $150,000 as prosecutors and defense present conflicting self defense arguments regarding the shooting of Officer Gary Hart and Sa Stanley Henney. Moreno's arraignment is set for July 11 at 10 30 am.
