Intruders entered Ronald J. Bueno's Calgary Avenue residence between 8 and 12 last night using a spread to wheel out a waiting car. About $2,000 in rifles appliances and other items were reported missing including four rifles a stereo tape deck portable television and assorted clothing.
Eden Hospital directors will meet tonight at 20103 Lake Chabot Road to review a tentative 4969-70 budget and consider adoption. New medical staff offices and annual reappointments will be announced during the session led by Administrator Elmer Massman.
Two Hay ward men were arrested on drug charges after allegedly selling amphetamines to undercover narcotics agents. James J. Laker, 20, of 29907 Vanderbilt St. in Hay ward, and Scott A. Kenney, 19, of 24199 Leona Drive, were identified. Police said they paid Laker $9 for three cartwheels at his apartment last Thursday and later Kenney at a restaurant for two plastic bags of amphetamines for $10.
Casta Valley carpenter Joseph Gardner Jr., 24, died from injuries after a fall at a Hayward apartment under construction. He worked for Thomas Yeandle Inc. of Castro Valley. In a separate incident, Clayton Williams, 47, of Niles Boulevard died when a tractor overturned on a Hayward hillside.
Suzanne Kirby 25 daughter of Doris and Robert Kirby 284 St Henry Drive Fremont died Sunday night when a car carrying three passengers struck a concrete bridge support on a highway in Wilmington Tl She was a graduate of Washington High School and San Jose State College and had lived in Illinois briefly Pot lime.
