Princess Friends Divorcing Amid Royal Ties

London AP reports that two of Princess Margaret's close friends are divorcing. Carnius Fry, 23, seeks divorce from her husband Jeremy 39, who is godfather to the princess's older child Viscount Linley. Fry is named co respondent in a divorce action by sculptor Lynn Chadwick 50 against his wife Frances 26. Margaret's husband Lord Snowdon reportedly proposed to her at the Frys' home near Bath. Fry was to have been best man at the wedding but had to withdraw.

Filibuster Halt Brings Congress Closer To Adjournment
