New Faith Lutheran Church to Receive Members
At Faith Lutheran Church Castro Valley new members will join by baptism and confirmation this Sunday. Eleven will be baptized, five confirmed, and thirty five people from ten families will be received overall. Plans for a new church building include a 420 seat nave plus 150 ancillary seats, a clerestory, and a breezeway connection to the Sunday School wing. The site is 90080 Redwood Rd in the orchard area south of the present building, with construction committee details discussed May 27 and the con gregation approving the plot and floor plans.

A ham and bacon booth is sponsored by the Holy Name Society. Proceeds support the new school building fund.
