Martinez Crash Survived By Pilot Soukup After Crash
Portland businessman Mites J Soukup, 49, owner of Pacific Diesel Truck Rental Co., survived a plane crash during a duck hunt near Martinez Slough. He crawled for seven to ten hours before rescue, found by an oil refinery worker along a railroad embankment near 3 am.
