Pet Cemetery Plans Flourish In Soul County

Floyd McClure, 42, leads Warm Springs Pet Memorial, the area’s only pet cemetery, offering several burial plans from shared plots to individual caskets. The venture, begun after his Navy service and inspired by pet burial practices he saw elsewhere, aims to move pets from manure piles to respectful gravesite treatment with a chapel and memorial fountain planned on five acres off the Nimitz Freeway. Fees range from about 99.50 for Garden of Peace to 149.50 for a top-drawer option, with the basic shared plot priced around 252.5.
