Budget plan outlines Castro Valley schools budget
Castro Valley school district budgets about 464000 dollars for the coming year with around 404000 to be available for operations. Superintendent A.B. Hayward police held 24 year old Lawrence D Bias of 20048 Yolo Street after a late night armed robbery in which Frank Romero 49 reported being threatened with a knife for his wallet and $40. Romero said Bias met him in a bar then drove to San Leandro with two companions before forcing him from the car at knife point. Witnesses Arthur A Hinchley and William P Duiguian saw Bias flee from an alley. patrols and questioning led to Bias’s detention as investigators pursue the case.
